why ‘limber?’
Creating Limber Rehab + Physio encouraged Cam Walsh (BPHTY) to reflect on his own personal style of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
“Throughout this process I have tried to concentrate on what causes many of us to seek treatment in the first place.
It is movement, or more accurately, the lack-of movement that is often our biggest concern. Pain, stiffness, weakness, posture…whatever the reason for one's immobility, our goals are to move more freely, to be more mobile…more limber.”
‘Limber’ is also a bit of a play on words with “limb” rehab as our speciality (see tab above for more information on upper and lower limb conditions).
With many years experience in Physiotherapy Cam has seen and treated a range of patients with a vast range of conditions and injuries. As well as prescribing a variety of exercises to suit every ability, he employs a range of manual therapy techniques to help achieve a patient’s goals, including dry needling.
