Knee:
Knee injuries and pain contribute to countless hours of time off work or away from the activities you love. Regardless of the cause, common complaints include swelling, clicking and pain with kneeling, squatting, taking stairs or simply with walking.
Numerous factors are taken into account in the assessment of a knee injury. This can include the effect of the injured knee on the rest of the body, such as altered walking pattern, poor balance, compensatory movements or an effect on the lower back/pelvis.
After discussing the history of your knee pain/injury and performign a range of tests, a game plan will then be formed as to how best deal with the issue. This may include manual techniques such as massage, taping or dry needling as well as strength and balance retraining.
